My son wants to start collecting cards, and I looking for a little help :)

I believe its best to stick with just one companies online drugs no prescription cards/brand but which is the best fo a beginner? And does he just go get a couple packs or save up fo a box, etc?

thanks in advance for your answers and any other misc. advvise you may have on collecting baseball cards.
